Art Clay Silver

Wow! - Mold this special clay into any shape. Fire this clay in a kiln and magically the clay turns into solid silver!

We start with silver in the form of moldable clay. Then we sculpt the clay into the shape of a new jewelry piece, or around an existing piece. The piece is then fired in a kiln and turned into solid silver. You can end up with pieces that are only made of silver or you can wrap the silver around an existing glass piece (the silver will bond to the glass). We use, sell and teach with Art Clay Silver. There are other silver clay products. These other types have a large shrinkage problem and have to low a firing temperature to work with glass. Our clay works great with glass, or just by itself!

Shaping Tool Set

Set of 6 stainless steel shaping tools. Ten different ends. Press the ends into the hot glass to shape or make impressions. Use the sharp ends to rake or feather your glass. Sharpen some ends to make even more sharp knife sharp impressions. These can also be used as a mini spatula set to move small amounts of powders and frits.
