The Major Bench Burner with premix by Nortel. This torch is really two torches in one with two independent sets of valves. The torch on top is a smaller premix torch. The tip can be changed from a single pinpoint flame to a bushier 31 hole tip. This premix is ideal for working borasilica (Pyrex) glass. The large bushy flame torch on the bottom is a surface mix. Two completely different sets of oxygen and gas valves allow you to control each flame independent of each other.

We also sell a Major Burner Torch with the top as a surface Mix flame. Surface Mix flames work for all types of glass; hard or soft, sodalime or borosilica, Effetre/Moretti or Pyrex, everything.
The Pre-Mix flames only work with the Borosilica (Pyrex, Hard) glass but works the glass faster than with a surface mix flame.

Use this gas hose when you use a two gas torch (oxygen and propane) like a Minor Burner. Most torches are attached to the hose by pushing the cut end (no brass fitting) on to the torch and securing with a hose clamp. These hoses have two attached hoses, one for oxygen and one for propane. The end of the hoses are attached to the gas regulators. Propane hose fittings are always left handed threads and oxygen is right handed so there is never a mixup attaching hoses. The green hose is oxygen and propane is red. CAUTION Do not use the easy to find oxygen/acetylene type hoses. The propane gas will rot them. The hoses we sell are made for all types of gas including propane. The below larger diameter hose is only used if when you need a large hose to fit over the large inlet fittings on some torches. (You can get the smaller 1/4" hose listed above on these large inlet fittings with a bit of effort. A trick is to emerse the end of the hose in very hot water to soften the end.)

Y - Connectors for Hose
Y Connector -
Connect this fitting at the output of the regulator and attach two hoses so you can use two torches from the same tank.

Flashback Arrestors

In some rare situations, a flame can travel back down a hose to the gas tank and cause an explosion.
This device helps prevent this reverse gas flow and flashback.
This device uses a reverse flow check valve and a flame arrestor that stops this flashback flame.
Packaged and priced with both an oxygen and a propane arrestor.

Manifold Gas System

Bulk Adaptor Systems
For users of Hot Head Torches or any torches similar to the HotHead torch Save on the cost of propane by using a large bulk refillable propane tank instead of the small disposable fuel gas cylinders. Item# F273701 uses a single hose with the correct fittings on each end. 5 or 12 foot hose.
