This kit uses the two gas (oxygen and propane) 6B by National.
Just connect this torch to a BBQ type propane tank (you may have one in your back yard) and to an oxygen tank. Most people rent this oxygen tank at their local welding supply store. It might typically cost $5 per month to rent the tank and about $15 to $35 each time you have it refilled. Use this kit when you want to be assured that you have the set of tools you need to make pipes.

Flashback Arrestors
Flashback Arrestors - This is not required to operate your
torch. It is a recommended safety device. In some rare situations,
a flame can travel back down a hose to the gas tank and cause
an explosion. This device helps prevent this reverse gas flow
and flashback. This device uses a reverse flow check valve and
a flame arrestor that stops this flashback flame. Packaged and
priced with both an oxygen and a propane arrestor. Gas flow is
in one direction only. Arrow showing gas flow dirction is stamped
on the side of the flashback arrestor.

Propane Bottle Holder with work surface
All stainless steel. Holds your propane bottle safely and at the correct angle for your torch. Torch and propane tank not included. We recommend the HotHead torch. Includes a built in tool and glass rod rest. Holder holds both the wide and narrow shaped gas tank. Should be clamped or screwed to the table.

to support glass rods to keep them up off the flameworker's workbench
for easier grabbing, better organization, and to keep the glass
rods cleaner. The rippled edge keeps the rods from rolling around.
