Kiln Maintenance
Chips or cracks in the brick will not effect performance. You can just leave them alone. If it does bother you, ask us for a bottle of kiln cement.
If your
kiln is equiped with a fiber cloth flap covering, the sides of
the flap will eventually fray. This is normal wear for this high
temperature fiber material. Replacement flaps are available at
a nominal cost. New style shown below.
