Important Shipping Information about Kilns
(Shipping Estimates Will Not Be Correct)

The shipping estimate for your order that you are quoted in check out will not reflect the actual
shipping total of the kiln - kilns are drop shipped separately from the manufacturer, so the shipping totals for all orders that include kilns need to be calculated by our customer service representatives.

You will be contacted by one of our customer service representatives once your order has been processed and your shipping total has been figured.

If the manufacturer has the kiln you've ordered in stock it will be shipped fairly soon. However,
please note that shipping may be delayed 2-5 weeks if the manufacturer does not have the kiln
in stock. This is especially true during the holiday season and other busy times of the year.

Features

Paragon 14-9INF

The 14-9INF china painting kiln is simple to master with an infinite control switch and safety pilot light. It is 2" deeper than the early X-14J and of single-piece construction, complete with a hinged lid.

The 14-9INF fires to 1700 °F on a 120 volt, 20 amp, 5-20R outlet. The lid comes with a lock-in lid support for easy loading and the Prop-R-Vent for two stage venting of china paint fumes. The stand, complete with mar-proof plastic feet, is tall enough to accommodate the optional Orton Vent Master.

The heavy gauge stainless steel case is cold-rolled to the shape of the kiln for a tight fit. A heavy galvanized steel base covers the reversible brick bottom completely. It folds up under the stainless case on all sides to strengthen the firing chamber. This is one more assurance that your Paragon kiln is built to last.

Wires are fastened to the elements with heat-dissipating connectors refined and proven over many years in Paragon kilns. Elements are coiled from the finest high-temperature wire available.

Paragon 14-9PAK

The 14-9PAK china painting kiln is 2" deeper than the earlier X-14J and of single-piece construction. The 14-9PAK comes with an analog set point controller. It is very simple to operate: turn a pointer knob to the desired temperature printed on the switch box. Press the button. The heating elements remain powered until the kiln reaches temperature. Then the kiln shuts off automatically.
