The Dichroic ROUND rods are 16" long and coated on 1/3 the diameter of the rod. The coating is rainbow on all rods.

Hotstix are 8" long
Flattened rods with
dichroic coating on one side. Even though these rods are shorter
than the above rods, there are 3 times more dicro on these Hotstix
rods as compared to the above rounded rods, because they are
flattened rods. They are sprayed various colors and choice may
be available - Just ask.

Strips can come two ways.
A strip cut from a pre coated sheet - the edge would be a sharp edges.
A strip that has been fired in a kiln to round and smooth the edge then coated.
The smooth edge is better for handling.
The below strips have the rounded edge.
